In Langlands duality, two Lie algebras appear in dual pair. In studying the representation theory of quantum groups, we found that the characters of representations for these two dual algebras are related, even though the relation between the algebras themselves is not yet understood.
More precisely, we will show how to decompose the character of a representation of quantum affine so_{2n+1} into characters of representations of quantum twisted affine sl_{2n}.
