I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Cologne and am currently working at the LMU Munich. My research is centered around geometry, topology and dynamics of Riemannian and symplectic manifolds and orbifolds.

Stability analysis of geometric inequalities investigates how close an object that almost attains the optimum is to an actual optimizer. Of primary interest in this context has been the Euclidean isoperimetric inequality whose optimizers are round balls. In the talk I will give an overview on this story and an introduction to Lorentzian isoperimetric inequalities. Afterwards I will discuss new results and open questions in the Lorentzian case. The talk is based on joint work with Jonas W. Peteranderl (LMU Munich).
