Professor of Mathematics. My interests are hyperplane arrangements, logarithmic vector fields, free arrangements, Weyl groups and invariant theory and Hessenberg varieties.
Recently, the Castelnouvo-Mumford regularity of the logarithmic derivation modules and differential forms of hyperplane arrangements have been studied by Schenck, Derksen-Sidman, Morihiko Saito, DiPasquale and Bath by either approximation theory. We give another proof of Bath's result. Combining it with the previous work, we show some properties of the Solomon-Terao polynomial of hyperplane arrangements, which is expected to be related to (toric) topology and D-module theory.
