Bruno Cisneros is Associated professor in Mexico's National University since 2015 and works on the intersection between Geoemetric group theory and low dimensional topology.  He is interested on Artin-Tits groups, Mapping class groups and their relations with knot theory.

In this talk I will present the virtual braids from an algebraic, combinatorial and topological viewpoint, then I will describe a solution to the word problem based on Artin-Tits groups tools and normal forms on amalgamated products.
