Seminar of Algebra

I will present joint work with H. Darmon, M. Harris and A. Venkatesh in which we prove a conjecture of Venkatesh in the simplest non-trivial scenario of (non-exotic) classical modular forms of weight one. The proof relies on the theta correspondence between various Hecke modules and Merel-Lecouturier's theory of Eisenstein elements.
